RON BUNKOSKY – Ronald Duane Bunkosky passed away at his home in Red Deer, AB on May 31, 2016. He was born Oct. 8, 1956 to Elvina and Edward Bunkosky in the Maple Creek, SK Hospital. He attended Jasper Street and Sydney Street Schools in Maple Creek. He moved to Redcliff, AB in 1969 where he attended Parkside School. He moved to Swift Current, SK in 1972 where he attended Swift Current Composite High. In 1974 he was employed by Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. He worked for two years on a construction crew and following a move to Moose Jaw, SK, another two years maintaining, installing and calibrating weigh scales around southern Saskatchewan. Ron moved to Calgary, AB and worked for an insulation laminating company for a year. He started with W.E. Greer in Grande Prairie, AB in 1980, working there four years before transferring to the Red Deer, AB branch. In April 1985 he was hired at Harrison & Crossfield where he worked (under various company name changes) until an illness in 2011 prevented him from continuing his career. Ron was predeceased by his father, Edward, in 1993; and his mother, Elvina, in 1994. Ron is survived by his brother Robin, his sister-in-law Patricia Dyck Bunkosky, his nephew, Thorin Bunkosky of Swift Current, SK and his niece, Tanita Bunkosky of Saskatoon, SK
