It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Stella Belliveau (formerly of Dorchester and St Joseph) announces the passing of their mother. She passed away at her residence, Villa Providence in Shediac, on June 8, 2016 at the age of 91. Born in Bathurst on March 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas Dugas and the late Marie-Anne Haché. She was a nurse’s aide at the Drew Nursing Home until her retirement. Stella loved quilting, bowling and dancing and did many years of volunteering. She will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Jackie (Roger) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Anita Belliveau of Moncton, Lorraine Belliveau of Shediac, Patricia Belliveau of Sackville and Roberta (Valmon) Hebert of Cocagne; two sons, Claude Belliveau of Dieppe and Phillip Belliveau of Delia, AB; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Therese (late Edouard) Arsenault of Bathurst and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert (1965); the father of her children Julien Belliveau (2002); four sisters, Lea, Brigitte, Alvina and Rita and by four brothers, Martin, Leonard, Raymond and Aurele. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Sunday June 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Monday June 13 at 11:00am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
