Trites, Cecil Roy
1937 - 2016

Moncton, NB – Cecil R. Trites, 79, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, June 12, 2016, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late William and the late Effie Trites (nee Ward).

Cecil will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Shirley Mae Trites (nee Bauer) of Moncton; by his two daughters, Christine Trites (Roger Saulnier) of Moncton and Joyce Steeves (Mike) of Dorchester; by his four sons, Michael, Robert (Lori), John and Keith (Jessica) all of Moncton; by his sister, Marjorie Layton (Gary) of New Scotland; by his brother, Ralph (Marie) of Brantford, ON; by his eleven grandchildren; by his eight great grandchildren; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Donald; by his four sisters, Rosie, Bessie, Mabel and Betty; by his two brothers, George Tower and Donald Tower.

Visitation will be held at Turtle Creek Baptist Church, 842 Route 910, Turtle Creek on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 12:30pm till the time of service. Funeral service will be held from Turtle Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 2:00pm. Burial will take place Lakeside Cemetery.
