MacLeod, Douglas Goldwin
Douglas Goldwin MacLeod, 88, of Harewood passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Harewood, he was a son of the late Goldwyn and Muriel (Demont) MacLeod. Doug worked for Canada Cement Lafarge until retirement. He was an avid draft horseman and wrestling fan. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed the MacLeod family reunions.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife of seventy years Doris (Keith); children Joyce Magee (Clayton), Kinnear Settlement, Althea Lewis (Gary), Petitcodiac and Phillip (Susan), Harewood; grandchildren Chonya, Nevin (Debra), Tracy, Jeremy (Rhonda), Clinton, Jaret (Alison) and Mark; eleven great-grandchildren; sister Sharon Stephens (Donald), Ontario; sisters-in-law Kay MacLeod, Mary MacLeod and Margaret MacLeod; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Roy, Herbert, Milton and Vincent.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) visiting will be Thursday, June 16, 6 - 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Friday, June 17 at 2 pm with Pastor Nancy Sprague officiating. Interment at Monteagle Cemetery.
