Passed away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on Tuesday, June 14, Herbert William Bryant of Hickman’s Harbour, in his 70th year. Pre-deceased by parents Stephen and Bertha (Rose) Bryant, brother Douglas, and brothers-in-law: George Dean and Wilfred George. Left to mourn are sisters Gertie Dean of Hickman’s Harbour and Pearl George of Mount Pearl; brother Fred (Bernice) of Brampton, Ontario; nieces Barbara, Bonnie, Nancy and Jean; nephews: Geoff, Bradley, Ross, Roger and Dennis; several grand nieces and nephews and a group of very special friends at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor, where he lived the last few years of his life. Funeral service officiated by Rev. Donna Hann, took place from Hickman’s Harbour United Church on Friday, June 17, with interment following at the United Church Cemetery in Hickman’s Harbour.
