The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Palliative Care Unit, Community Hospital, O¹Leary, on Thursday, June 16, 2016, of Marjorie Janetta Strongman (nee MacCaull) of Port Hill, aged 78 years, wife of the late Earl Strongman. Born on July 4, 1937, in Bideford, daughter of the late John and Gladys (Ford) MacCaull. Loving mother to Jackie (Edith) Strongman, Sherbrooke, NS; Douglas (Leona) Strongman, Ellerslie; Judy (Dean) Bryan, Foxley River. Cherished grandmother to Sandra (Brent) Williams, Poplar Grove; Brian Strongman (Melissa Oatway), Ellerslie; Amanda Strongman (Matt O¹Brien), Charlottetown; Jennifer (Scott) Smallman, Sylvan Lake, AB; Kyle Strongman (Courtney Mailman), Sherbrooke, NS; Bradley Bryan (Mindy Palmer), Tyne Valley; Matthew Bryan (Katelyn Campbell), Bonshaw; and Cecily Strongman, Sherbrooke, NS. Great-grandmother to Reece Williams, Madalynn Strongman, Emerson Strongman and Grace Smallman. Marjorie is also survived by sisters and brother Reby Millar, Dartmouth, NS; Wanda Lane, Waterdown, ON; Eva (Bill) Ogg, Toronto, ON; Chester (Judy) MacCaull, Burlington, ON; Helen (Elmer) Hutchinson, Ellerslie; Glenn (David) Noye, Tyne Valley; sister-in-law to Kay MacCaull, Eastern Passage, NS; June Pelton, Summerside; Helen Delaney, Scarborough, ON; and Ira (Priscilla) Strongman, Summerside. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, husband Earl (2009) and brother Patterson. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours on Sunday, June 19, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, Port Hill. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In memory of Marjorie, memorials to St. James Anglican Church or Prince County Hospital Foundation, (Oncology Unit) would be appreciated.
