1928-2016

Aurore Arsenault, 87, formerly of Lewisville, passed away on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born on November 21, 1928 in Néguac, she was the daughter of the late Agapit and Sophie (Savoie) Allain.
Aurore was a graduate from École Providence and worked as a nurse at the Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence LeBlanc; one daughter, Lisanne Gautreau (Claude) of Dieppe; three sons: Charles (Marie-Thérèse) and Paul-André (Brigitte), both of Moncton, and Réjean (Lorryann) of Riverview; one step-son, Michel (Gisèle) of Moncton; nine grandchildren: Roland, Renelle, Sophie, Ryan, Rachel, Jonathan, Jasmine, Cassidy and Aryka; one step-granddaughter, Frances; six great-grandchildren: Maeve, Kiera, Layla, Boston, Marcelle and Maxime; one sister: Diana Murphy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred (1980), and one son, Marcel (1996).
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Louis-de-France Roman Catholic Church, 5 Pleasant Street, Moncton, Tuesday June 21 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Aurore, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated.
