It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy "Dot" White, 89 of Springhill regrets to inform that Dorothy has passed away on June 17, 2016 at the High Crest Nursing Home in Springhill.
Dorothy loved dancing and music. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Borden White ( Heather ) of Springhill, 3 grandchildren, Kathlyn Smith (Tim Smith) of Springhill, Alex White (Kayla Coleman) of Truro and Taylor -Jean White of Halifax. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Reginald "Reg" Milton White of Springhill, also two siblings, Basil Morrison and Martha Adshade.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., (902-597-2361). The family will receive visitors from 1 -2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at A.H. Brown Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS.
The family would like to thank friends and family, nurses and staff at All Saints, VON, East Cumberland Lodge and High Crest for everything they have done for Dorothy in the past few years. Thank You, Borden, Heather, Katelynn, Alex & Taylor.
