Cornelius G. (Corney) Wiebe of Swift Current, Saskatchewan and formerly of Springfeldt, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Swift Current Care Centre at the age of 86 years. He was born on June 20, 1929 to Johan & Helena Wiebe on the family farm in Springfeldt. Corney is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen (nee Martens); his children, Judy (Wes) Wiebe, Nettie (Trevor) Ward and their children, Shandra (Riley) Woods and Tyrel (Kristin Blomert) Ward, Tilly (Lionel) Tschetter, and their children, Tim (Leah Kiel) Tschetter, Brian Tschetter, and Karlee Tschetter, Darcy (Shari) Wiebe and their children, Keelan Wiebe and Jackson Wiebe; and by his brother, Abram (Jessie) Wiebe. A private family service was held with Joell Haugan officiating. In memory of Corney Wiebe donations can be made to Community Baptist Church, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
