The death occurred on Thursday, June 23, 2016 of Jamie McManaman of North Rustico and formerly of Belnan, N.S., aged 39. Jamie was the best friend and husband of Melanie (nee Doiron); and everything to his children, Carson and Madison, and stepson, Logan. He is also survived by his father, Ken (Marie), Lantz, N.S.; his mother, Carolyn (Clay), Moncton, N.B.; brother, Randy Killam; sister, Alicia McManaman; father and mother-in-law, Eric and Lorraine Doiron; sisters-in-law, Faith Moore (Damien), Sarah Vantveld (Will) and Becky; and brother-in-law, Matthew Doiron (Liz). He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and all the young people he coached and mentored throughout the years. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, June 27, 2016, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
