Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, June 27, 2016, Melvin Lockyer of Arnolds Cove, aged 71 years. Predeceased by parents John and Emma Mae; brothers Cyril, Cleverley and Howard. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Daphne of 43 years; children Cynthia (Edgar), Karen (Kurt), Tina (George), Ward (Dianne) and Holly (Derek); grandchildren Gary, Ashley, Stephen, Noelle, Jeremy, Austin, Sydney, Robin and Melissa; great grandchildren Dawson, Savanna, Mason, Syke, Zoey and Mya; sisters Maude (Roland) and Judy (Melvin); brothers Alex and Ernest (Sheila); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnolds Cove. Funeral service took place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnolds Cove. In his memory donations may be made to Clarenville Area SPCA.
