Passed peacefully away in Twillingate, NL, Emily (Bickford) Coombs, formerly of Bell Island, July 5, 1918 to June 28, 2016. Predeceased by her parents: Henry and Charlotte Bickford; husband Gus; 14 siblings and their spouses; daughter Jean (Jenkins); son Cyril; son-in-law Henry (Jenkins); grandson David (Jenkins); great-great grandson Dominick (Roberts). Left to celebrate her memory son Ron (Sheila); daughters: Bernice Anstey (Ross), Marilyn (Friedman) Greeley (Victor); daughter-in-law Hazel (Earle) Coombs; grandchildren: Marlene (Coombs) Roberts, Duane Coombs, Rhonda (Coombs), Surowaniec, Kevin Coombs, Angela Jenkins, Jeanne Jenkins, Berdena (Coombs) Marche, Gus Coombs, Fred Coombs, Terry Anstey, Gregory Anstey, Christopher Anstey, Karla (Friedman), Dibdin, Joe Friedman, April (Friedman) MacDougall and their families; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-8:30 with a service of celebration at 8:30 in Barrett's Chapel.
