WILSON, DORIS M.
1932–2016
Miramichi – Doris May Wilson, widow of the late Marven Wilson, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of the South Napan Road, passed away at her residence on Wednesday afternoon, June 29, 2016, at the age of 84. Born in Chatham, on January 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Elizabeth (Hay) Budd.

She was a homemaker and a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, Miramichi. She was a devoted member of Branch # 3, Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion; a member of #65, Ever True Rebecca Lodge; a former member of the Napan Unit of the W.I.; a former member of the Miramichi Ground Search & Rescue Unit; a long serving member of the St. John Ambulance volunteers.

She is survived by one daughter, Lorna Wilson, of Niagara Falls, Ont.; three sons, Harvey (Sharon), of Sutton, Ont., John Henry, of New Westminister, Ont. and Charles, of Brockville, Ont.; three brothers, Kenny, of Saint John, Norman, of Miramichi, Harvey, of St. Catherines, Ont.; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Marven; three children, Byron and Earl Wilson and Christina Temple; three brothers, Earl, Lorne and Stewart Budd.

Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, July 4, 2016, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Fred Douwsma. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
