RICHARD, LOUIS JOSEPH
It is with sadness the family of Louis J. Richard of Fredericton announce his passing at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 29, 2016. Born in Rogersville, NB, August 1, 1928 he was the son of the late Alyre and Josephine (Martin) Richard.

Louis was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a Mason by trade.

Louis is survived by his loving wife Marie (Guimond) Richard; children Anne Campbell (Edward), Roger, Lorraine Whalley (Wayne), Rheal (Janice), Gilles (Tammy), Yvette Northcott (Adam); grandchildren Denea, Corey, Madison, Morgan, Julia, Dylan, Brandon, Justis, Aidan, Calleigh; great–grandchild Jack; brothers Elie, Alderic, Edward, Anthony (Didine); numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Leo and Aubert; sisters Annette and Ida.

Although there will be no visitation, a mass celebrating Louis’s life will be held from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday July 4, 2016 at 12:00 noon with Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery with a reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Fredericton would be appreciated.
