JIMMO, RYAN PAUL
Ryan Paul Jimmo of Saint John, NB died tragically on Sunday, June  26, 2016 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 34.
Ryan was born on November 27, 1981 in Saint John, NB. He grew up in West Saint John attending St Malachy’s Memorial High School.  He enjoyed and excelled in many sports and activities.  Among these there arose a passion for Karate.  This was the foundation that launched a life of discipline, adventure and unparalleled spirit.  His never ending pursuit of excellence gravitated Ryan to an extraordinary diverse life.  In everything he pursued he sought its purist form and committed himself with a passion and drive incomprehensible to most.  In sport he was a champion and a professional athlete, in chess he strived to be a master and as a Free Mason his desire to be a good person was clear to all.
In an all too brief time with us he accomplished so much and touched so many.  He will be missed every day and his life forever remembered as one of passion, service to others and a love of family and friends who will be eternally lifted by his infectious laughter and strength of spirit.
Ryan is lovingly remembered by his parents, Paul and Linda Jimmo of Saint John, NB; brothers, Douglas (Hayley John) and James (Ang) of Victoria, BC; sister, Lisa (Brian) Wills of Saint John, NB.  His loving nieces and nephews: Tamara (Matthew), Bradley, Ethan, Lauren, Logan, Noah, Olivia, Brent, Ally, Rhom, Angela, Aaron, Bastienn and many other relatives.
Visitation will take place at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) on Tuesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 6 from 2 to 8 pm.  The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 360 Dufferin Row,  Saint John on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12:00 pm.
