EGERS, VIRGINIA "RUTH"
Virginia "Ruth" Egers of Minto, passed away peacefully at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Ruth was born in Montreal on August 22nd, 1938 daughter of the late Thomas (Catherine Foulkes) Thurrott. She is survived by her loving husband, Dow; their children, Catherine (David) Schriver and David (Sherri) Egers; siblings, Mary Thurott and Ross (Janice) Thurott; grandchildren, Teya Schriver, Abbi, Emmily, Nate and Katie Egers; many nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her parents as well as an infant sister.

The family will receive comfort at the United Baptist Church of Minto on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held from the church on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Interment will be made in the Newcastle Bridge Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ruth can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the donor's choice.
