The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, July 1, 2016, of Jo Edge of Summerside, P.E.I., and formerly of England, aged 78 years. Loving mother of Sarah Millar (Wayne) of Summerside and Andrew Edge (Esther) of California, USA. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Becky Stewart (Adam) of Summerside, Jessica Millar (Chloe) of Charlottetown, Logan Millar of Summerside, Karse, Kyran and Keane Edge of California, and her great-grandchildren Reiger and Dilyn Stewart. Survived by sister Marcia Doyle and predeceased by her brother Gabriel Stone and her sister Heather Chard. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, where a private funeral service will be held for family and close friends. Memorial donations in Jo’s memory to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. No visitation by personal request.
