Pauline Nadeau
NADEAU (LEGER), PAULINE L.
Pauline L. Nadeau (Leger), passed away peacefully in Memramcook, N.B. on Monday July 4, 2016 surrounded by family at the age of 88.
She was born on July 23, 1927 in Hartford, CT and was daughter of the late Alphe and Sylvia Leger of Memramcook, N.B. She lived most of her younger years in Memramcook before marrying Conrad Nadeau and moving to Connecticut to raise a family.
Pauline was a devoted wife of 62 years, a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved for her quick wit and humor. She had strong Christian values which were reflected through her love and acceptance of everyone who crossed her path; she had a very generous heart. She enjoyed researching Genealogy, crafting, music, cooking and theatre. She belonged to many organizations and societies as well.
She is survived by her children, two daughters Mary–Jane Laws (Brian) of FL, Elaine Burgess of Connecticut and a son Mark Nadeau (Allison) of Connecticut, 13 grandchildren, 15 great–grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Conrad Nadeau and her sons Paul and Andrew. She is survived by her brothers Robert Leger (Carol) of Alabama, Raymond (Rachel) and Pamphile (Dorine) Leger of Memramcook, Henri Leger of Quebec and a sister, Sister Evangeline Leger of Haiti and their families. She was predeceased by a brother Rudolphe Leger and an infant sister Jeanette.
A family memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 10:30am at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
