MOOSE RIVER – Willena B. Dow, age 102, of Moose River, Cumberland County passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro.
Born in Moose River, she was a daughter of the late Stuart and Beatrice (Hatfield) Roberts.
She is survived by a son, Elmer (Gladys), Moose River; former daughter-in-law, Judith (Webber) Dow (Wylie Henwood), Lakelands; 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glenford in 1995; sons, Floyd and Donald; sisters, Beaulah, Bertha; brothers, Lee and Langston; a grandson, Glenford; a great grandson, Michael.
Funeral service will be held in St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Moose River at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, the Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in church cemetery. Reception to follow at St. George's Anglican Church Hall in Parrsboro.
