With his family at his side, Brian Arthur Bolger’s wish for peace was granted as he passed away peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on July 17, 2016 at the age of 66 years. Although Brian lived the past few years with his family in Charlottetown; West Covehead was where he and his lovingly devoted wife Donna (nee-Marshall) and beloved son Cory Joseph (Sheila–nee MacIntyre) built their lives and expanded their family with two beautiful granddaughters, Hannah and Reegan, who Grampie adored. Sadly, Brian was predeceased by his precious grandson, Colby Brian in 2004; as well as his parents Jack and Helen Bolger and younger brother Joseph, along with his parents-in-law Horace and Edith (Court) Marshall and brother-in-law Don. Brian is also survived by aunt Betty (the late Clark Cudmore); uncles Joseph (Sandra) Bolger, Massachusetts, USA; Keith Beaton (the late Marjorie), Kirk Gamester, Ontario and his sisters and brothers-in-law; Heather (Bill) Cameron, Lewis (Brenda) Marshall, Bobby Marshall and Janet Dalziel, brother Michael, along with his nieces and nephews; his extended MacIntyre family and of course his dear friends. Brian will always be remembered as an honorable, intelligent and considerate person, always putting others ahead of himself. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment in West Covehead Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the PEI Provincial Palliative Care Centre or the West Covehead Cemetery. No visitation by personal request.
