At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 21, 2016 of James "David" Sherren of Charlottetown, age 58 years. Dear father of Melissa Sherren (Casey Tuazon) and Molly (Michael) MacLean and loving grandfather to Kiara MacLean. David is survived by his parents James David and Mary Ellen (nee Ellsworth) Sherren; siblings Cathy (Bruce) MacLean, Betty Jean (Les) Morse and Ricky Sherren (Darlene Shaw); special aunt Jean (John) Pater; sister-in-law Karen Campbell-Sherren. He is also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son James David; grandson Alexander David and brother Robert "Bob" Sherren. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. Donations in memory of David may be made to the PEI Humane Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
