It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend Beulah Myers, age 82, on Wednesday, August 3,2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Yarmouth, she was the twin daughter of the late Sheldon and Agnes (Davige) Myers. Beulah was a member of the Church of God, Louisbourg. She was the greeter and usher of the church. Beulah greatest joy was when she poured into other people with her kindness, compassion and love. Beulah is survived by her loving children, Sharon Deveau, Antigonish, Merle and Barbara Broughm, Montreal, Kevin (Leslie), ON, Mike (Rachel), Montreal, her wonderful grandchildren, Donnie, Kim, Serge, Sylvain, Sandra, Leah, Lydia, Matthew, Michael, Amanda, Micah and Jessie; her 15 precious great-grandchildren; her roommate and twin sister, Beudah Chant and the extended Chant family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by the father of her children, Ross Broughm; sons-in-law, Gordon Deveau and Jeffery Kibble. Visitation will be held Tuesday August 9,2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral service will take place 11a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
Reception to follow. Interment to take place in Loch End Cemetery, Catalone. Donations in Beulah's memory may be made the Gideon Bible Society.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of ....
