Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on August 5, 2016, in the presence of his loving family, William P. Power, age 87 years of Freshwater, formerly of Little Harbour West, P. Bay. Predeceased by parents Vincent and Caroline Power, sister Annie Mae, brothers Mike, Lee, Ray, Vince and Aloysius. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 64 years Mercedes, his children Theophilus, Phonse, Kevin (Judy), Shirley, Delores (Mick), Bill Jr., Theresa (Cliff), Cathy, Mark and Bonaventure (Nathalie), 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws Mary, Madeline and Jean Power and Marcella Pittman, a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday from 7-9, Sunday from 2-9. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 11 a.m., with interment to Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
