April 12, 1930 – August 6, 2016

Walter Palibroda passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2016 in Regina, SK. Walter was predeceased by his wife Olga; his parents George and Mary Palibroda; his sister Lena and brothers Bill, Mike, John and Nick.  Walter is survived by his son Duane (Michelle) Palibroda of Vancouver, BC and his daughter Shona (Paul) Dederick of Regina, SK; grandchildren Ali, Kate, Nicholas and Sophia, all who brought much joy to his life.  He is also survived by many friends and relatives.  Walter served his rural neighbors for over 40 years as a local welder and mechanic, and also volunteered for many community activities.  Walter enjoyed fishing and hunting, but mostly spending time with his grandchildren.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Calvary United Church, 114 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Rick Martin officiating.  Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
