Norman Arthur Taylor

Taylor, Norman Arthur – Age 66, Brentwood, passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on August 13, 2016, following a short battle with cancer.
Born in Halifax, he is a son of Reta (McLeod) Taylor and the late Arthur Taylor.
Norm’s passion for trucking led to a love of travel that eventually carried him to the beaches of Mustang Island, Texas, where he and his wife spent many winters. In the past few years, his interest was focused on old cars and showing them at local car shows almost every weekend. Most of all, his love for his grandkids and children surpassed everything else.
Norm is survived by his wife, Valerie (Rafuse); children, Andrew (Anne-Marie), Juillene (Shaun McAndrew), Aaron (Sarah); grandchildren, Calem and Travis McAndrew, Nyomee Taylor, Maebea Taylor; brother, Gary (Lona); sister, Judy (Burke) Miller; numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Norm’s wishes, friends are invited to join the family on Tuesday, August 16, from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m., in Hilden Fire Hall, for a time of remembrance.
Cremation has taken place with a private interment planned for a later date
Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
