The death occurred, with family by his side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on August 18, 2016 of Gordon D. MacDonald of Peters Road. Age 84. Lovingly father of Wendy Guindon, and Dee Dee (Benny) Vuozzo. Loving Grampie of Katie (Kirk) MacKinnon, Angele MacDonald, Justin (Jennifer) Guindon, Anthony (Melissa) Guindon, Adam (Kaela) Guindon, Michelle (Stefan) Froese-Kuhn, Mallory (Osman) Hamid, and Maggie MacDonald. Loving Poppy of Allie, Ben, Zach, Garrett, Ellie, Brooklyn, Ethan, Lexis, Kaeden, Cole, Josie, Hermine, Grayson, Ravi and Farah. Survived by siblings Allison, Donald (Delores) and Janet Miles. Predeceased by wife, Peggy; son Jim; daughter Heather; brothers Jack, Bruce, David and Robert (in infancy); brother-in-law Tony Miles and sisters-in-law Jean and Millie MacDonald. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Wednesday, August 24 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 25 at 2 p.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
