Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Thursday, September 8, 2016, A. Joyce Whalen of Western Bay, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband Frank; sons-in-law: Heber Parsons and Joe Sellars; sisters: Alfreda, Mary and Mildred; brothers: Lewis, Hubert and Gilbert. Leaving to mourn, son Cyril (Debbie), Carbonear; two daughters: Leona Sellars, Western Bay and Gail Parsons, Carbonear; four grandchildren: Natalie (Shane), Neal (Janna), Jeremy (Colleen) and Janine; three great-grandchildren: Preston, Whitney and Luke; sister-in-law Joyce Trickett, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
