It is with broken hearts we, the family, announce the tragic sudden passing of Amanda on September 7,2016 in Westmount at the age of 29. Born in Comox, British Colombia. Amanda was the daughter of Neil MacIntyre and the late Karen Batke. Amanda is survived by her five beautiful children, Autumn, Mariah, Damien, Dominick and Dallas who she loved more than anything in this world. She is also survived by her stepmother, Alicia Jewett; brothers, James and Bryce; sisters, Destiny, Tanisha and Kelsey; grandmother, Annabelle Ruley. Also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Amanda was predeceased by her mom, Karen Batke; grandparents, Bev(Rushka) and Walter Batke; grandfather, Kenny MacIntyre. Amanda was a beautiful, kind loving person inside and out, and no matter what she always had a smile on her face and loved her family dearly. Cremation has taken place.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.
A Celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
