RAYNARD, Edmund (Ned) Leslie, of Argyle, Nova Scotia, passed away at Hastings Manor in Belleville, Ontario, on Sunday, September 18th, in his 99th year. Beloved husband (for 71 years) of Jessie May (nee Roberts) Raynard; dear father of Karen MacLeod of Belleville; dear grandfather of Heather (Mike) Yearwood and Holly (Corey) Phillips, both of Belleville; dear grandfather of Alec, Madison, Mackenzie and Foster, all of Belleville area; and dear brother of Andrew Raynard, of Yarmouth County. Mr. Raynard was predeceased by his parents, the late Herbert and Leta (nee Hamilton) Raynard, and by five brothers, Victor, Vernon, Russell, Arthur, and Donald, and by three sisters, Mrs. Edna Melbourne, Hope Gray, and Freda Raynard. Mr. Raynard is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Raynard was resting at Sweeny's Funeral Home in Yarmouth. The family received friends Friday evening (September 23rd) from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at Sweeny's Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24th, at 10:00 am. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Argyle, NS. Memorial donations to the Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
