Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, David Janes of Carbonear, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents: George W. and Drucella; brothers: Clarence and John; sisters: Phyllis (John) Cornish and Hilda (Bert) Power. Left to mourn, three brothers: Ambrose (Phyllis) and George (Peggy), both of Carbonear, and Leo (Debbie), St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Janes, Carbonear and Iris Janes, Truro, NS; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. John Davis conducted the Funeral Service on Saturday, October 1 at Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
