Lillian LeBlanc

LeBLANC, Lillian Mary – age 96, Sand Beach, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Nakile Home for Special Care, Argyle. Lillian was a teacher in Yarmouth Co. and worked as an overseas exchange teacher until her retirement. She was the daughter of the late Augustin and Amy Bourque; married to the late Cleveland “Cleve” LeBlanc of Wedgeport; survived by step-children, Sandra Smith and Patrick LeBlanc; brothers, Frederick Bourque and Delbert (Eileen) Bourque; 4 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Anna and Hilda; brothers, Leonard, Joseph and Lewis. Visitation took place from 7-9 Monday evening with prayers at 8 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to charity of ones choice. Special thanks to Tony Szymanski for all that he has done and to Nakile Home for Special Care for the care they showed Lillian throughout her stay there.
