The wonderful life of Glenys Marcella Butler (nee Tucker) has come to an end and her warm, comforting spirit has passed on to the memories of her family and friends. Left to carry on are her loving husband Leslie, their devoted daughter Kirsten, and Kirsten's husband Joshua Fleming, their compassionate son James, and his partner Viviane Fairbank. Also left are Glenys' dear siblings and their spouses Ralph Tucker (Gwen), Wilfred Tucker (Nancy), Ethel Peddle (Lindsay), Clyde Tucker (Sharon), their children, grandchildren, and the first of the great-grandchildren. Missing her keenly are Glenys' sisters-in-law, their spouses and special friends including Frances Burke (Jim), Barbara Butler (Boyd Martin), Jacqueline Wheeler (Robert), Narcissus Walsh, their children and grandchildren. A large circle of friends from all stages of Glenys' life feel the absence of her welcoming smile, sense of humor, and gentle spirit. Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home at 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Remembrance of Glenys and her life will be held in the chapel of Fillatre's on Thursday, October 6 at 2 pm. Glenys loved flowers and they will be gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada or the children's charity of one's choice.
