Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, October 6, 2016, Roy Maher of Southern Harbour, formerly of Rosslind, BC, aged 68 years. Predeceased by parents Roy and Mona; step-mom Joan Maher; step-dad John Haack and father-in-law Patrick Best. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Frances of 22 years; children Sean (Cara), Patrick, Sarah, Joseph, Ashleigh (Blake) and Kris; granddaughter Avery; brothers Terry (Brenda) and Michael; mother-in-law Sadie Best; brothers and sisters-in-law and their families; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour on Monday evening, October 10, 2016. Funeral Mass will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with interment at Christ The King Cemetery, Southern Harbour.
