The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, October 8, 2016, of Blair James Connell of Stanhope and formerly of Charlottetown and Summerside. Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Joan (MacIntyre), his treasured daughter Jennifer, his loved son-in-law Sandy Gallant, and his adored granddaughter Lily Gallant. He is also deeply mourned by his sisters-in-law Maureen Neary (Pat) and Jackie MacIntyre, his brothers-in-law Morris MacIntyre, Frank MacIntyre, and Fred MacIntyre. He was predeceased by his father James A. Connell and his mother Lillian Connell (Stavert).
