Monica Susan Fenez, 59, of Boudreau-Ouest, passed away on Sunday, October 9th, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 17th, 1957 in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret “Peg” (Harper) Coady. Monica’s passions were her gardens, golf and dancing. She was truly blessed with many great friends and she was dearly loved by her family, especially her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Lucien; 10 brothers and sisters: Gerald (Trish), Frank (late Marilyn), Phyllis Macintyre (Roly), Freddy (Sheila), Rev. Bob, David (Elies), Marion Campbell (Philip), Trish Skerry (Patrick), Colin (Melody) and Marshall (Faye), as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters: Ann and Pauline. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are Friday, October 14th, 2016 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday 10 a.m. until time of funeral service. A private family memorial mass will be held at a later date. In memory of Monica, a contribution to the Georges-L.-Dumont UHC Foundation (oncology) or to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
