MCNAMARA, Marie Elizabeth “Betty”
Age 84 of Truro passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9 with her beloved son and family at her side. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Angus and her daughter, Patricia (Patty). Betty is survived by her son, Angus (Norma) McNamara; grandchildren, Angela (Frederick) Baker, Lisa (Rene) Despres, David (Shasta) McNamara; great-grandchildren, Lilianna, Benny, Greyson, Pippa; Nephew, Paul; and great-furbabies, Ireland, Nola, Gwen, and Seymor. The funeral will take place at Saint John XXIII Parish 35 Colby Drive, Cole Harbour, NS this Friday, October 14, at 12 noon with interment to take place at a later date in Saint John, NB. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dartmouth Bide Awhile animal shelter.
