Gordon Miller passed away peacefully at home in Burton, NB on October 12, 2016. Born on April 20, 1921, in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, he was the son of the late Lebius and Vanava (Langille) Miller and husband to the late Sara Parsons. Gordon is survived by his sons, Robert Miller (Linda) of Glace Bay, NS, Bill Miller (Dianne) of Burton, NB and Kevin Miller (Joan) of Dominion, Cape Breton; daughters, Diana Ogilvie(David) of Kingston, ON, Brenda McMullin (Darrell) of Lincoln, NB and Dolena (Robert) of Reserve, Cape Breton. Gordon will also be missed by 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Gordon was predeceased by his daughter, Angela; two sisters and three brothers. A celebration of life will be held at Patten’s Funeral Home, 71 Union St, Glace Bay, NS, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
