It is with broken hearts that the family of Alexandra (Sandy) May Leggett age 72 of Amherst announce her sudden passing on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at home.
Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Donald and May Bulmer.
Sandy worked as a cook for several restaurants in Amherst and enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She was a loving mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Sandy leaves to mourn her daughter Kathy and sons Robert (Tina) and John all of Amherst, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one niece.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Herbert and sister Noni Higgs.
At Sandy’s request there will not be any visitation or funeral service.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Mental Health Association or the charity of your choice.
