Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2016, in the presence of her loving family. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Richard (Dick) of 48 years; two daughters: Sue (Jim) Rideout, and Heather (Blaine) Jenkins; four grandchildren who loved her dearly: Luke, Claire, William, and Owen; sisters: Joan, Betty, Bernice, Beatrice, and Pat (Paul); brothers: Don (Esther), Ed (Pat), and Jim (Barb); also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Staff of 4West at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 18th and 19th, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Mass to be held from Mary Queen of the World Parish on Thursday, October 20th at 9:30 am.
