Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and friends, John Stanley Brazill, aged 62 years. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his wife Sherry; loving daughter Carmen; loving stepson Donovan; sister Patricia (Peter); brother David (Perri); nieces Bailey and Meighan; nephew John; mother and father-in-law Patricia and Gordon Vivian; and a large circle of family, friends, and coworkers. John spent 35 years as a technologist at CBC. Early years were spent working with film and tape, and as technology progressed, he became an accomplished software designer writing complex code. John retired in 2009 to golf, fish and reluctantly renovate. He was very handy and industrious, and as he would comment of other such like-minded people - "he could put an arse in a cat". If there wasn't an instrument made to do the job, he would design one. Cremation has taken place. The family will accept visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kids Eat Smart Program at St. Matthew's School.
