Mary T. Wilson, age 90, of Halifax, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Northwood Manor. Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice Donovan. Mary is survived by her children, daughter, Anna (Vernon) Bates, Halifax; sons, Albert (Mildred) Wilson, Dartmouth, Myles (Ann Marie) Wilson, Whitney Pier, Adrian (Dale) Wilson, Mississauga, Ontario; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert (Ollie) Wilson; sisters, Anna, Bridgette, Margaret and Caroline; brothers, George and Miles. A private visitation and chapel service will be held in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, River Ryan. At the request of the family, no flowers please.
