It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Michael Brewer on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Henry and Marion (MacArthur) Brewer. He was a former member of plumbers and pipefitters, Local 682. He enjoyed biking. He is survived by his children, Jamie (Hazel), Shawn and Paula (Stuart); grandchildren, Christina and Charlotte; brothers, Brian (Karlene), Mac (Cheryl), as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Henry.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Burial to follow in Alfred E. Smith Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of…
