Edward "Eddie" Lorne Sagal of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Amil and Phyllis (née Lalonde), and his wife, Suzanne (née Laberge). Among those who will miss Eddie are: his children, Tanya (Darold) Sturgeon, Candace (Chad Reed), Sandra (Robert) Guillaume, Lianne (Brent) King, Steven (Stephanie), Roberta (Craig) Perrault, David, and Sarah (Curtis) Gaudet; his 18 grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Vicky (Larry Watson), Regina (Garth Hendry), Doug (Marilyn), Lonnie, Stan, Mary B (Bruce Murray), Michelle (Shannon Pearce); Suzanne’s family; and many nieces and nephews. Eddie grew up in Marquis, Saskatchewan. After working with CP Rail and as a teacher, Eddie took over the family's implement dealership, Sagal Brothers Sales Ltd. Eddie lived life to the fullest while spending time with his family, cooking great meals, and travelling the world. He was a sailor, a pilot, a scuba diver, and a skier - passions that he would introduce to many others over the years. In his spare time, Eddie could be found playing hockey, tennis, golf, crokinole, bocce ball, or a game of cards with his grandchildren. Eddie will be remembered for his wit, his welcoming smile, and his intelligence. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1064-3rd Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw. Father Rick Krofchek will preside. A private family interment will take place, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Providence Place Foundation. We thank all the staff at Guardian Grove for their attentive and compassionate care during Eddie's battle with Parkinson's. In living memory of Eddie, a memorial planting will be made by W. J.
