We, the family of Joseph (Joe) Jones extend our thanks and gratitude to all those who supported us and expressed their condolences at the time of our great loss. Many thanks go out to those who attended the Funeral Service.
Thank you for the Mass Cards, sympathy cards, monetary gifts and emails. For the beautiful flower arrangements, food brought to our home, the charitable donations made in Joe’s name and those who travelled to be with us, we thank you.
Special thanks are extended to Dr. John Kirkpatrick and Dr. Khodadad for the excellent care and concern for Joes health. Thank you to the staff of the 4th floor at the Northside General Hospital and the Cancer Clinic and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the compassion shown. To Cathy MacMillan, Palliative Care and to the VON we thank you for the excellent care you gave Joe.
To Father Sandy MacNeil and Father Peter MacLeod for a Funeral Service that would have made Joe proud, we thank you. Our gratitude to Corinne Devoe and the choir, to the Altar Servers, Urban Day, Billy Day, Jackie Day, to grandchildren Nicole Jessome and Brandon MacDonald for the offertory gifts and the readers son Paul Jones and Sue Lavery. To the Honorary Pallbearers, John Young, Harry MacNeil, Urban Day, John Brennick, Reggie Howley and Joe Druggan, we thank you. A special thank you to the CWL for the beautiful luncheon.
A heartfelt thank you to my friend, Heather MacNeil for all of her help and support and to our grandson Kelly, Joes “Buddy”.
To the staff at J.M. Jobes Funeral Home for their compassion and professionalism during this difficult time, we thank you.
