Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, November 6th, 2016, Ann Rice age 90 years. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Catherine, brothers Francis (Helen), Martin (Marie) and sister Madeline Cooney (Bill). Leaving to mourn a large circle of very dear nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, especially her niece Bernice Morrissey (Doug) and a number of other relatives and friends. After retiring, Ann devoted many years to volunteering and was affectionately known as the "Penny Lady". Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Arthritis Society.
