Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, November 4, 2016, Hilda Nurse of Champney’s East in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Gilbert; son William Robert; sister Alvina Vardy; brothers Harold, Clarence, Theodore, Hezekiah and Donald; son-in-law Fenton Oldford. Left with fond and loving memories her children Eileen, Shirley (Ralph), Donald (Peggy), David (Frances) and Terry (Kimberley); eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters Helen, Dot (Roy) and Edith (Pearce); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Christ Church, Port Rexton. Funeral service took place on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Christ Church, Port Rexton with interment at the Anglican Cemetery in Champney’s East. In her memory donations may be made to Pallative Care Unit, Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital.
