BLAUVELT, Ernest Hugh – Age 64 (b. Sept 18, 1952), of Tusket passed away November 8, 2016 with his family and friends by his side. Ernest worked many jobs throughout his life finishing his career at Elite Farm Services in Eel Brook. He was predeceased by his father Nathaniel Blauvelt and mother, Isabelle (Muise) Blauvelt; sister Jean and infant brother, James. He is survived by brothers, Joseph “Oscar” (Pat), George, Melvin (Marie), Randall and Leroy (Charlene); sisters, Gertrude (John), Kathleen (Charlie); fiancé Lynn Deveau; nephew, James Welsh “Jimmy”, 8 nieces, 6 nephews, 8 great nieces and 6 great nephews. Funeral services were entrusted to Sweenys Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 6 to 7:30 pm where a funeral service started at 7:30 pm. all in Sweenys Funeral Chapel, Rev A.D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Interment took place on November 14th in St. Stephens Anglican Church Cemetery, Tusket. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
