Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2016, Edgar Douglas Butt at the age of 76 years. Edgar was predeceased by his loving wife Louise; mother Hazel and father George Butt. Leaving to mourn his loving partner Jeannie O'Keefe and her family; son Douglas (Christine); daughter Jackie (Wayne) and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Winston (Olive), as well as many family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. There will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Edgar's memory to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
