Veronica passed away peacefully November 22, 2016 at Christenson Village in Gibsons.
Veronica McEvoy was born May 14, 1931 in Edmonton, Alberta, the daughter of James and Helen Givens. She was united in marriage to Alan McEvoy on September 20, 1952 in Edmonton. He preceded her in death January 4, 2001. They were married for 49 years.
She is survived by her children and spouses; Michael (Margaret), Ottawa ON, Kevin (Robbie) Sechelt BC, Maureen (Lawrence) Vancouver BC, Patrick (Lori), Powell River BC, and five loving grandchildren, Iain, Fraser, Rory, Joel and Madison. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Gerald, and sister Jean.
