It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Clyde Doucette announce his sudden passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: his wife, Gina; son Jay of Stephenville; granddaughter Jessica; daughter Jackie (Jerry) of St. John's; mother Mary "Toni" Doucette of Port au Port; seven brothers: Ted (Vanessa) of Alberta; Malcolm (Patsy) of Port au Port; Don (Sylvia) of Stephenville Crossing; Melvin of Alberta; Joe (Isabell) of Alberta; Danny (Carleen) of Port au Port; Jerome of Port au Port; three sisters: Olivera (Gerry) of Deer Lake; Lillian of Ontario; Dianne (Danny) of Port au Port and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Hugh Doucette; sister Marie and brothers Brett and Bruce. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10 am at St. Stephen's Parish on West St., Stephenville with interment to follow at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
